Sporty & Rich

A place that retro sportswear spirit meets elegance, that is Sporty & Rich is represented. Established in 2015 by Emily Oberg who was a magazine editor at that point, the brand was an Instagram mood board at beginning.
As the board expanded, they transformed into magazines, and they became an apparel brand which influenced Gen Z a lot.

What's special about them is not only about their success story, but also their design.

The font, logo, slogan, silhouette are all balanced and blended well. Iconic items of them, for instance sweatshirts, are featuring 'WELLNESS', or 'Drink More Water'.
Oberg’s one and only sense for transforming the retro shapes into the trendy look makes them stand out even though there are plenty of sports brands all around the world.
Strongly inspired 80’s fashion icon, representing Princess Diana, Sport & Rich successfully make it revival without making it look outdated.

Their spirit for design is spectacular, but their way of approaching the environmental impact is also something special.

Their main factories are located in LA and Portugal. Only curated cotton which is fully grown in the USA, is used for the main material.
For employees at factories, they pay attention to ethics. They pay over wage and extra fee for overtime, and benefits.
Sounds pretty much fair and normal, but this is a serious problem that many of the apparel brands have had for decades of years.

Moreover, Sporty & Rich plant a tree on their customers behalf through Eden Reforestation Projects in Madagascar, on each order placed online.

As they grow faster, more trees would be planted.
